Data & Genomics – Realising the Nordic “Data Goldmine”

Event Details

On October 4th 2016, as a part of Week of Health & Innovation (www.whinn.dk) in Odense, Denmark, the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies is preparing a conference on “Data & Genomics: Realizing the Nordic “Data Goldmine”.

Health will be disrupted by the potential of molecular and digital data, especially when in combination with advances in the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, robotics and nano technology.

The Nordic Countries have collected a vast amount of social and health data that can be considered a research, development and commercial goldmine, and be applied to both public and personal health. But we do not see this data used enough; what are the challenges and obstacles that are limiting its application?
