Unfortunately, due to the current situation with the rapidly spreading COVID-19 virus and the guidelines issued by the University of Bergen and the Helse Bergen University Hospital, the CCBIO Annual Symposium May 12-13 and the Satellite Symposium on Biomarkers in Immunotherapy May 11 has been cancelled.
The Centre for Cancer Biomarkers has the pleasure of inviting you to the 8th CCBIO Symposium, 12-13 May 2020 at Solstrand Hotel. The Symposium will be preceded by a Satellite symposium on Immunotherapy on 11 May 2020.
With so many participants in a very international mix, this is a great opportunity for international networking within the field of cancer research. The beautiful surroundings at the historical hotel Solstrand provide an ideal frame for the symposium with the serene fjord views, fresh air, great food and spacious areas, with a little touch of Norwegian history.
You can be looking forward to lots of interesting research by international experts in their fields, such as Robert D’Amato, Sylvia K. Plevritis, Rameen Beroukhim, Marco Davila, Silvio Gutkind, Michael Rogers, Malin Sund, Klaus Pantel, Guido Sauter, Morag Park, Antony Braithwaite and Amir Aref.
The symposium will also feature other senior and junior researchers, extended poster sessions where younger researchers can present their work, and ample time for interaction between the participants. The selection of which participants that can present their posters is done on the basis of the submitted abstracts.
The symposium is open for all, so please feel free to pass on this information.
If you have any questions, please look through the practical information sheet first.
If you wish to present a poster, please have the following information at hand before registration:
- Poster title
- Whether you will present alone or with one of the co-authors
- Size of the poster
Note that a one-page poster abstract in Word format needs to be submitted to Eli.Vidhammer@uib.no for inclusion in the poster book, before 1 April 2020.
Satellite symposium on Immunotherapy on 11 May 2020
Also note a satellite symposium which will take place the day before, 11 May 2020, also at Solstrand.
The topic this year is biomarkers in immunotherapy.
This has a separate registration form, and is also open to all.
